The program started its activities since 2008. Sustainable and Decent livelihood development is the objective of the program.
RISDA-Bangladesh is one of the leading organizations in Bangladesh for Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) and market-driven skills development. Through RISDA Institute of Technology (RIT), RISDA provides world-class training opportunities to unemployed youths, women, and disadvantaged communities.
🔹Major Achievements in 2023–2024:
- RIT trained more than 12,000 youths this year across diploma, vocational, short-course, apprenticeship, and skills development projects.
- Over 6,500 trainees were placed in jobs across various national industries (Garments, Skills Engineering, IT, Construction, Caregiving, and more).
- Several trainees received overseas job offers in Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, and Qatar through partnerships with internationally recognized recruiting agencies.
- RIT expanded its digital learning initiatives including:
- Online freelancing and IT training
- Digital marketing and graphic design labs
- Online learning support through Facebook Live classes
- RIT introduced new trades aligned with industry needs:
- Caregiving
- Modern Garments & Fashion Design
- Web Development
- AutoCAD (Civil & Electrical)
- Hospitality Management
- CCTV & Smart Security System
- Training centers in Savar, Mirpur, Faridpur, Cox’s Bazar, and Mymensingh saw major upgrades with modern labs and industrial equipment.

Our Approach
To get better and decent job opportunity all men and women, in particular the unemployed youth, RISDA-Bangladesh has conducted Skills Training program. Other activities includes market survey, designing marketable skills training curriculum and Job Placement Support. RISDA-Bangladesh is also running a permanent Vocational Training Centre based in Birulia, Savar, Dhaka. It has also a outreach center at Salta, Faridpur.
